Folding
Simply remove the footrests and the Minimaxx folds for transport and storage. The folding mechanism is designed in such a way to add to the wheelchair's strength and rigidity.
An established heavy duty wheelchair design, the Minimaxx self propel wheelchair is already used successfully throughout Europe and world mobility markets, fully supported by Cobi Rehab. In addition to UK NHS Hospital environments, the Minimaxx meets the diverse needs of UK Bariatric Care Centres, charities and individuals. Key factors of the Minimaxx are the ease of use for users up to 50 Stone / 325 kilos, plus simple folding action and effective storage - especially considering such a robust construction

The height adjustable and ergonomic push handles on the Minimaxx provide the attendant with complete control. The soft rubber handles are designed and shaped to allow safe, secure handling and easy movement, yet lessening strain on the attendants wrists and shoulders.
With correct seating management, users find the Minimaxx easy to propel and manouvre. Rear wheel postioning can be adjusted for easy movement by the independent user. The robust front castor options cater for different floor surfaces and give added forward stability to the wheelchair.
Disc Brakes are an impressive and very useful optional extra for the attendant controlling the Minimaxx. A simple easy action lever activates the brake caliper on both rear wheels and the brakes can be simply 'locked' in place for safe parking
The chair user also has easy action brakes acting on both rear wheels
